Finding your Purpose

admin Life Coach Training

Good afternoon my Wonderful Family, I hope you are all well and blessed.

Before I never knew that we had a God given purpose, I know I am sorry 🙈 and I also did not know that we should take action to find out what our purpose is. Not that we can ever find it on our own.

To know the purpose of something we better ask the owner who created the subject for its purpose, agree?
Ok so then the question may come up, but how does one do that? Good question I am happy that you are so focused on my post 😂
When we buy a new smart tv with all the high tech attributes and we want all attributes to work how do we begin? By reading the Manuel correct? ( even if we call somebody else for help they would still read the manual 😬) incase that’s your answer. So if we want to know our purpose I think it’s a very good idea to read the Bible.
I do not mean taking your bible and opening it on whatever page falls open, that is like playing lotto and even in lotto people often times loose allot of money and time to maybe win something once in a lifetime. I don’t play or like lotto but that’s another post someday maybe. Anyway I do not hope that my readers want to find their purpose in a lotto kind of way, if that’s the case please pray about it.

Revelation 3:15-16(ERV)“I know what you do. You are not hot or cold. I wish that you were hot or cold! But you are only warm—not hot, not cold. So I am ready to spit you out of my mouth.

Yeah we don’t want that, thus we will read our bible everyday where we left of the day before – PERFECT I LOVE YOUR DEDICATION!  As we want to know our purpose and what we are created for,  we need to know our Creator: God Almighty. Question: have you ever read the Bible and went 🤔 I don’t understand a thing of what I am reading? If no? Praise the Lord. I sure know I have been there, even yesterday. I was reading and it made no sense to me, like I was reading a foreign language ( believe me my bible is in English) so I prayed to God and was honest to him and reminded God that he said that he would give wisdom to whom asks freely.

James 1:5(ERV) Do any of you need wisdom? Ask God for it. He is generous and enjoys giving to everyone. So he will give you wisdom.

So God instructed me to read the passage again and this time it was plain English, God is so good praise the Lord.
That brings me to my next point, we need to have a relationship with our Heavenly Daddy. How can we know what he wants us to do if we do not have a relationship with him? Okay so let me ask you something: Tell me what are MY dreams? Okay let me give you some time…………………..need more time? NO!!! Because time is still not going to help you to know what my dreams are. Now if you would ask one of my kids, in particular my oldest daughter of 17 she would probably be able to answer that question. Why? Because we have a relationship with each other, we spend allot of time together and thus know each other. This is the same with God, how can you know the purpose he has for you if you don’t even know him and have no relationship with him?
How did I know the promise of God – to give us wisdom when we ask? I know BECAUSE I read it and memorized it and was able to use it because I KNOW the promise. I did not have to remind God, God knows the words he spoke –  HOWEVER I have to know the words he spoke. Let’s say I promised my kids a family vacation this year in July and I wrote it down in our family journal and all my kids have to do is reside it back to me. The problem comes up – if they never read the journal, because then they don’t know about the promise – so did not get it. Had they resided it back to me I would of made the arrangements and we would of had the vacation. I hope that makes sense. The Bible has a lot of promises in it for us but if we don’t read it how will we know and apply it?
Then there is another piece to it. We need to know ourselves. It says in

Mark 12:30- 31 (NIV) Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself. ‘There is no commandment greater than these.”

We first need to love God and then we need to love our neighbors AS OURSELVES. Many people don’t focus on the AS YOURSELVES. How can you do that if you don’t know yourselves? Exactly – you can’t. Many people don’t know themselves, they know what people want them to be and often times think this is “themselves” but it’s not. You can only “know” yourself by spending time by yourself and with God. You see believer or no believer (yet) God still created you with a purpose and it’s all wired within you – yourself and your purpose. To get it you need to take the time to get to know you, what drives you, what is your passion and what are you naturally good at?

These seem easy questions however they are not and can only be truly answered if you read the Bible, have a relationship with God, know God and his promises (by study) and know yourself.

Look at another promise: Psalm 32:8(NIV) I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go I will counsel you and watch over you.  Beautiful promise – if you know it 😊

Now tell me what purpose were you created for?
Remember God loves you Much!
