Good afternoon my amazing SABU Family,  (*** SABU means saved and blessed university family)

Philippians 4:8 Says: Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable – if anything is excellent or praiseworthy – think about such things.

We are now going to learn how to apply this verse to our lesson. Go back to your notes of the exercise in part A and look at all your comments that you wrote down about your bible verse for the 7 days.

Apply Philippians 4:8 to your notes, which means that there should be no negative thoughts/notes after you applied this verse to your assignment. If everything you wrote down is positive good job, I’m proud of you. If some is negative change it to positive.

Let me give you an example of my notes: My bible verse is: Habakkuk 2:2-3 and the Lord answered me, and said, write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that read it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie, though it tarry, wait for it, because it will surely come, it will not tarry.

Example: Day 1 thoughts/Revelations: My Vision is to start my own life coach practice to help people with life opportunities/brokenness see the love of God. I don’t know how to write this down in a vision, this could take months to write and I never wrote a vision like that for myself. I don’t have a location to start my life coach practice.

Now if I would apply Philippians 4:8 to my thought session it would not fit as I wrote it above. Now lets apply the word truth  of Philippians 4:8 to my thoughts/revelation session. Truth is that in James 1:5 God says: If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given you. Philippians 4:19 says: And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus and Psalm 34:10 says: The young lions suffer want and hunger; but those who seek the Lord lack no good thing. Now what about if I apply noble to my thought session? Well lets look at Jeremiah 29:11: For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, ” Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Lets look at my Thought session now!!! IT changed from a thought session to a Revelation session with promises from Almighty God. If I look at my Revelation session nothing seems impossible and every wrong thought is answered with a positive promise. How Amazing is that?

*** Let’s put it into action: Set a calendar reminder 1 time a day to Focus on your thought/Revelation session of lesson A and apply Philippians 4:8 to each day, you can pick any word mentioned in the verse and look up positive bible verses as I did in my example above. Lets do this one day at a time and spend a maximum of 30 minutes to each day.

Lets pray before we do each session and invite God to be part of our sessions. Please do this for each day on the Lesson A section ( 7 Days)
